A BENEFIT
IN AID OF THE
BRITISH PRISONERS IN FRANCE.
The PROFITS arising from this evening’s performance will
be transmitted to the Fund, in London, (by the hands of
Messrs. Worswick and Co., bankers) in aid of the
subscriptions already announced, to the honour of the
British nation; and as several of our brave countrymen,
from this town and neighbourhood, stand in need of every
assistance, it is hoped that this application will meet with
general encouragement and support from the inhabitants
of Lancaster and its vicinity.
